My 2013-14 project was a program of transcriptions, Music that SHOULD Have Been Written for the Oboe. When I first began working on this Mendelssohn Concerto, I simply read it off the violin part, with circles and arrows and copious margin notes to guide me through the alterations I had to make. When I began performing the work, in Spring of 2014, it got a lot of attention from my oboe colleagues, and I put some time in with a notation program to produce a sleek, readable arrangement.
Summer 2017 update: I have fixed some mistakes and improved the readability of the oboe part, and completed a piano score. If you ordered this work before, email me for a free update! The newly updated version is the one I am now selling.
